Google scholarships

Google is committed to supporting the education of the future leaders and innovators in technology and business all over the world, including those who are historically underrepresented in these fields. We believe in attracting all top talent to Google, regardless of identity or background.

In order to do this, Google offer scholarships which are to encourage diversity in Computer Science. A selection of these programs can be found below and more detail can be found on the corresponding websites.

We are accepting applications now for these opportunities and would appreciate your help in promoting these to relevant students.

1.      Google Anita Borg Memorial Scholarship: Europe, Middle East and Africa (www.google.com/anitaborg/emea/).

  •  Scholarship for female Bachelors, Masters and PhD students studying Computer Science or a closely related technical field. Deadline for applications: 1st February 2013.
  • Recipients have the opportunity to attend a 2 day networking Retreat and receive a 7000 EUR scholarship 

2.      Google Scholarship for Students with Disabilities (www.google.com/studentswithdisabilities-europe/).

  •  Scholarship for students with a disability studying their Bachelors, Masters or PhD in Computer Science or a closely related technical field. Deadline for applications: 1st February 2013.
  • Recipients have the opportunity to attend a 2 day networking Retreat and receive a 7000 EUR scholarship
